Soirée D’Evolution Hand Made Books               Edition of 40

The artist, Sean Yseult, has handmade each individual book in these limited edition collections. Every element of the individual books, from the stories Yseult wrote, to the photography, graphics, and book design itself, was conceived and crafted personally by the artist.

Each book was constructed by hand at each step in its fabrication. The pages have been torn by hand on all edges and hand-fed through an archival printer. The binding too was hand-scored and stitched by Yseult personally. Every detail down to the glued photographs, hand-made buttons, and Soiree invitation inserts were constructed by the artist.

A total of 40 books, 4”x6”, are available with 10 artist proofs. Each of the four sets differs in their unique bindings, and each individual book as well as insert is numbered and signed by the artist.
